CREATIVE SEQUENCING

7-Day, 60 - Hour Myofascial Itegrated Alignment TTC

YACEP

This 60-hour Creative Sequencing training is designed for yoga teachers who want to expand and elevate their teaching, as well as dedicated practitioners passionate about movement and curious to deepen their knowledge of the body.

In this immersive yoga teacher training, we explore the Myofascial Meridians system (Anatomy Trains) and how to apply it to intelligent, creative Vinyasa sequencing. Through the lens of fascia anatomy, you’ll learn to build sequences that support structural balance, energetic flow, and myofascial integration.

You’ll gain practical tools in biomechanics, posture analysis, and the science of fascia—blending modern anatomy with embodied experience. With these foundations, you'll craft sequences that are anatomically sound, innovative, and creatively expressive.

The course also includes hands-on assist techniques, offering skills to safely support students and enhance their practice. In addition, we’ll refine your cueing language, develop confident space-holding, and explore the art of verbal guidance that inspires clarity and connection.

This is a focused and immersive 60-hour yoga teacher training, designed to support growth—whether you're an experienced teacher or a devoted practitioner. While the environment is nurturing and grounded, the course invites commitment, curiosity, and a willingness to engage deeply with fascia-informed movement and creative sequencing.

What is Myofascia?

Although the term myofascia is often associated with techniques like myofascial release therapy and myofascial pain treatment, it actually describes the intelligent, interconnected network of muscles and fascia (connective tissue) that supports, stabilizes, and integrates the entire body. A deeper understanding of the myofascial system can significantly enhance yoga practice and other movement modalities by improving alignment, postural integrity, and functional movement. This fascia-focused knowledge supports injury prevention, promotes body awareness, and leads to a more efficient, balanced, and embodied yoga practice.

What are The Myofascial Meridians?

Myofascial meridians, also known as fascial lines or anatomy trains, are continuous pathways of connective tissue (fascia) that distribute tension, force, and movement throughout the body. Popularized by Thomas Myers in his work Anatomy Trains, these fascial networks demonstrate how muscles and fascia function as an integrated system rather than in isolation. Incorporating an understanding of myofascial meridians into yoga practice can improve movement efficiency, enhance postural alignment, support functional mobility, and help with injury prevention. This fascia-based perspective is essential for those practicing or teaching fascia yoga, anatomy-informed vinyasa, or myofascial yin yoga.

Why Myofascial Meridians?

Understanding myofascial meridians—the body’s interconnected fascial networks—offers key insights into how connective tissue supports functional movement, postural alignment, and energy flow. These myofascial pathways adapt dynamically to the body’s physical and energetic demands, allowing for more fluid and efficient movement. By integrating this knowledge into yoga practice, practitioners can improve alignment, prevent injuries, and deepen body awareness. This fascia-informed approach enhances the effectiveness of asana practice, encouraging a holistic view where all parts of the body work together rather than in isolation. As a result, yoga becomes not just a physical experience, but an intelligent, integrative exploration of the body-mind system.

What is MIA?

MIA (Myofascia Integrated Alignment) is a fascia-based approach to yoga sequencing that integrates the Myofascial Meridian System to align movement (Vinyasa) and posture (Asana) with natural intelligence. This method draws from both traditional yoga principles and modern fascia science, offering a comprehensive system for enhancing postural alignment, movement efficiency, and energy flow. By working with the interconnected fascial lines of the body, MIA helps balance the biomechanical and energetic properties of the myofascial system, supporting more functional, fluid, and injury-resistant movement. This innovative method bridges yoga anatomy and fascia-based training into one cohesive, embodied practice.

Daily Schedule

Each day of the 60-hour fascia yoga teacher training includes three in-depth sessions designed to integrate fascia-focused yoga, functional anatomy, and myofascial alignment. Mornings begin with MIA Yoga (Myofascia Integrated Alignment)—a dynamic, fascia-informed Creative Vinyasa yoga practice, held for five days, alongside one session of Myofascial Yin Yoga. These practices help embody the principles of myofascial meridians, biotensegrity, and alignment-based movement.

Midday lectures cover essential topics such as fascia anatomy, movement physiology, yoga sequencing, teaching methodology, and ethical hands-on assists—offering a strong foundation for both yoga teachers and movement professionals.

Afternoons focus on interactive workshops exploring postural alignment, hands-on assist techniques, and fascial tuning to refine both practice and teaching skills.

Daily Schedule:

7:30am – 9:30am: Morning MIA Yoga (Creative Vinyasa, fascia-informed practice)
9:30am – 10:30am: Break
10:30am – 12:30pm: Lecture I (fascia, anatomy, physiology, sequencing)
12:30pm – 2:30pm: Lunch break
2:30pm – 3:50pm: Lecture II (teaching methodology, philosophy, cueing)
3:50pm – 4:00pm: Short break
4:00pm – 5:30pm: Interactive workshop (postural alignment, myofascial assists)

Day 7 is dedicated to a teaching practicum, where students lead their own myofascial-informed yoga sequence and receive personalized feedback on cueing, sequencing, and space-holding skills. The full schedule for this day is shared on Day 6.

*The schedule is flexible and subject to change, ensuring a responsive, supportive, and transformative experience.
